HDPE PIPE FEATURES1- Reliable connection-The strength of PE water supply pipe hot-melt or electrofusion interface is higher than that of pipe body, and the joint will not be disconnected due to soil movement or live load.
2- Good impact resistance at low temperature.3- Good hygienic property - PE water supply pipe processing does not add heavy metal salt stabilizer, non-toxic material, no scaling layer, no bacteria breeding, a good solution to the secondary pollution of urban drinking water.
4- Good stress cracking resistance - PE water supply pipe has good toughness, high impact strength, and the weight directly presses over the pipe, which will not lead to pipe rupture.
5- Good chemical resistance - Except for a few strong oxidants, it can resist the corrosion of various chemical media and has no electrochemical corrosion.
6- Aging resistance - Under rated temperature and pressure, PE water supply pipeline can be used safely for more than 50 years.
7- Low flow resistance - The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, the roughness coefficient is only 0.009, and the fluid resistance is small, which effectively improves the hydraulic conditions of the pipe network and reduces the operating cost of the system.
8- Easy to handle - The pipeline is light, the welding process is simple, the construction is convenient, and the comprehensive cost of the project is low.
HDPE PIPE INSTALLATIONHeat fusion and electrial fusion both can be used for the hdpe water pipe connection.
Installation Steps1- Fix the pipes and pipe fittings to be welded on the butt joint machine, use clamps according to the pipe size, and polish the end face with milling cutter to make the butt end face smooth, flat, clean and vertical.
2- Adjust the height of pipes and pipe fittings so that the end faces of pipes and pipe fittings to be welded completely coincide, and connect the heating plate.
3- When the heating plate automatically heats up to the rated temperature, the pipes and pipe fittings to be welded shall be combined to heat the end face.
4- When the heating time is reached, the pipes and pipe fittings shall be separated from the heating plate, and then the two heating end faces shall be combined and butted to form a uniform flange at the joint to be cooled.
